Fifth Grade Social Studies and Language Arts
 


I teach Fifth grade Language Arts and Social Studies in an ITEC classroom.  I have a wonderful time finding resources online that we use in the classroom to enhance our learning.  I team-teach with Mrs. Bowling and this is my fourth year at Bethel-Hanberry.

I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee and went to Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  My husband, Erik, is the pastor of VillageChurch, which we started in the gym at Bethel-Hanberry in 2002.  We have three children.  Hank is a freshman at Blythewood High, Glyn is a fifth grader at BHE and Janie is in the third grade. 

 

When I am not at school I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading and helping out at church.  I am excited about starting another wonderful year with the students !
