Netsmartz http://www.netsmartz.org
Site
is filled with wonderful activities and web moments that teach internet safety
and manners, and help parents stay informed about new threats that our children
have to deal with.
Parents Place http://parentsivillage.com
Overall
site is not positive; information within is very useful, especially the ages
and stages for elementary school which you can click on the left side link
section
Parent Education Resources www.parent-education.com
They've
got some excellent links and good information for younger children
Parenthood Web www.parenthoodweb.com
Fantastic
information in a sea of graphics designed to grab your attention; get past
overwhelmed by their format and you can get great information.
123 Kidz Area www.123kidzarea.com
This
looks to be simple, direct, great information, especially for families new to
an area. Lots of support and seemingly safe surfing.
Healthy Kids www.healthykids.com
Lots
of great advice on health and fitness, and some delightful links. Some of
the ads and "voting" options for parents might be objectionable for
younger children, so keep an eye on this one if you bookmark it.
Help for Families www.helpforfamilies.com
This one offers a behavioral psychologist's view on how to develop desirable behavior. It lets you select specific areas of concern and work with just those. If you are working on being firm, consistent, and positive, this one should be very helpful.
