Welcome to
Armstrong's Article! This is my eight year teaching at Bethel-Hanberry,
but I feel like a veteran. I attended Bethel-Hanberry
when I was a child and feel honored to have joined such a fine, fine
staff. I graduated from the College of Charleston in 1992 and
completed my Masters in Divergent Learning at Columbia College in 2006.
I recently earned my National Board Certification for Middle-Childhood
Generalist. I have
been married for over 13 years. I grew up in the Blythewood area
and I still reside here with my husband, John, and our 2 children.
I currently teach 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. I
team teach with Yvette Addison, a colleague and friend.
We look forward to educating our future leaders!
