Education:

	BA in Elementary Education, University of South Carolina
	M. Ed in Early Childhood Education, University of South Carolina
	Currently pursuing PhD in Language and Literacy at the University of South Carolina-One year before the dissertation!!

Teaching Experience:

	7 years at Gadsden Elementary, Richland School District One, First Grade
	8 years at BHE, three in first grade and five in second grade

Interests:

	Reading professional literature
	Playing the flute
	Taking nature walks
	Spending time with my husband, Andy
