My name is Mr. Robert Saxon.
I teach second grade at Bethel-Hanberry Elementary,
where I have been teaching for fifteen years.
I
spent the first part of my childhood living in Kingstree,
SC with my parents and my older brother. When I was
12, however, we moved to Andrews. I graduated from
Andrews High School. The University of South Carolina
was my next home. While attending USC, I
earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education.
One of
my major hobbies is playing sports. I enjoy football,
basketball, and golf. I also like to travel.
My favorite place to visit is the mountains of North Carolina,
especially in the fall. I love to see the colors
change every year.
My
primary goal in education is to make learning fun for kids.
I try to use as many games and other fun activities as
possible with my students. However, I do have high
expectations for my students and I expect them all to fulfill
their responsibilities.
