When someone
is taught the joy of learning, it becomes a life-long process that
never stops, a process that creates a logical individual. That is
the challenge and joy of teaching.

Experience:
I have taught first grade for twenty-three years. Fourteen of my years have been spent at Bethel-Hanberry teaching some of this district's most wonderful children. I began my career teaching Home Economics but soon discovered my love for teaching younger children. I love teaching First Grade. |
| Family: I grew up in a military family and spent most of my childhood traveling across the United States and living in several foreign countries. I have been married to my husband Wayne for thirty eight years. We spent twenty five of those years traveling compliments of the United States Army. We have three fantastic sons and two lovely daughters-in-law. We have the privilege of being grandparents to three of the most wonderful children in the world. |
| Interests: I enjoy working in my yard and flower garden during the Spring and Summer months. My interest include spending as much time as possible with my family, especially my grandchildren. I like to read and enjoy traveling. |
